I didn't get to bed until 23:00 last night as I was playing on the Playstation 2, but I was still up with the alarm, bang on 05:45. It was a bit harder this morning, I really wanted to go back to bed, but I just got up anyway and did some work on the computer. Hailey wasn't due back until 08:00 so I couldn't go for a jog again this morning, so I had breakfast and got ready for work. When Hailey got home from her trip she gave me a lift into work.
At work my energy levels were about normal, I wasn't too tired, the feeling of wanting to go back to bed had gone. So far getting up 05:45 every day hasn't made much difference to how I feel during the day. This maybe because I'm already used to getting up quite early anyway, but getting up at that time does give me a bit of extra time to either go for a jog or get some more work done. The real test of this will be at the weekend, while the rest of the family are lying in I'll be getting up early still. I'm hoping though that this experiment will allow me to get things done that I wouldn't normally have time for, like for example blogging. I'm actually writing this post at 06:00 on the morning of Day 4.
Hailey picked me up from work this evening and when I got home I spent some time with the family until about 19:00 when I went and had my 30 minute practise on the guitar. After that I got into my training clothes and went for a jog, already this was easier today than when I went on Day 1. Hopefully by next week I will be able to increase the length of time spent jogging to 1 minute 30 then walking for 1 minute.
Diet wise today was very similar to yesterday, nothing much to report their, as I've said in previous entries I'm just trying to eat less than normal. I don't weigh myself everyday, so I don't know if I've lost any weight yet, I will weigh myself on Tuesday.
Overall, so far all is going well, its still early days though, I just have to keep it up.
